Kasia Dionne, DMD, Owner
Dr. Kasia Dionne graduated from University of Vermont in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then continued on to dental school and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2013. She has been practicing general dentistry since graduation, treating patients of all ages and dental needs. As part of her public health service, Dr. Dionne enjoyed providing dental care to children and adolescents in rural parts of Vermont, where access to care is limited.
Dr. Dionne is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and is proud to serve on Vermont State Dental Society Board of Directors.
She is also a faculty member of the dental residency program at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Dr. Dionne is a native of Poland and moved to the beautiful state of Vermont in 2000. She and her husband, Ed, reside in Williston. They enjoy spending time with their three daughters, Emma, Chloe, and Lilly, as well as their dogs, Bean and Rocky. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, swimming, reading, and spending time outdoors.
Crista Fantone, DMD
Dr. Crista Fantone is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine as well as The University of Vermont Medical Center’s general practice residency program. Since finishing in 2018, she has been pursuing her passion of providing dental work for all Vermonters, especially those with limited access to care. She treats children on a mobile dental van and is credentialed at Central Vermont Medical Center to treat patients with special needs under sedation.
She maintains a mentorship and faculty position with the dental residency program at UVMMC. She is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Vermont Dental Society.
Dr. Fantone is originally from Rochester NY. She moved to South Burlington in 2017 where she lives with her cats Benjen and Evie. She enjoys live music, cooking, traveling, reading, hiking and exploring the outdoors of Vermont.
Makesha Heath, TDA, Office Manager
Makesha graduated in 1999 from The Essex Technical Center as a Dental Assistant. That year, she was honored to receive the “Outstanding Dental Assistant” award. Makesha is often the very first person our patients encounter and she is always ready to give them a warm welcome! She is also our insurance and billing specialist.
Makesha and her better half, Nate, reside in their home in Essex Junction with their two beautiful girls, Monica and Daphne. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors in her vegetable garden, berry picking, camping, going for walks, biking, and spending time with family.
Meaghan Vickery, Receptionist
McKenna Farrell, TDA 
McKenna has been a traditional dental assistant since 2020. Prior to being an assistant, she was an experienced phlebotomist working for the American Red Cross. Wanting to still feel like she was serving her community, she followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a dental assistant; we are thrilled to have a mother-daughter duo on our team! McKenna has mastered digital scanning and 3D printing at the office.
In her free time, McKenna enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and camping all around New England. McKenna loves going on walks with her dog, Ace.
Buffy Farrell, TDA 
Buffy began dental assisting in 2009 when she worked in a dental traveling van serving children in rural areas of Vermont. Prior to that, she owned and operated a flower shop in Montpelier, VT.
As a dental assistant, Buffy is dedicated to helping every patient have a great experience. She joined Sprucewood Dental in the fall of 2021 and has been a wonderful addition to our team. She enjoys assisting with a variety of dental procedures, as well as performing lab work.
Buffy enjoys spending time with her husband, Chet, riding motorcycles, and camping. They have three children and one grandchild.
Erin Chevalier, CDA
Erin has been a dental assistant since 2017 and started her dental career at an orthodontic office. She has been enjoying working at Sprucewood learning numerous dental procedures and embraced them all very well. Erin has helped a lot of our patients achieve a bright smile with our in-office whitening service.
In the Fall of 2023, Erin started a three-year Dental Hygiene program at Vermont State University, while still working part-time.
Erin enjoys spending her free time with her family and her dog.
Emily Bieber, RDH, MSW
Emily earned her degree in dental hygiene from Vermont Technical College; following that, she gained a Master of Social Work from Loyola University in Chicago. She is also certified to administer local anesthesia. Emily enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them achieve great oral health.
She currently lives in South Burlington with her two young children, their dog, Reeses, and their cat, Connie. She enjoys being active and outdoors. In her free time, you can find Emily running on the bike path or watching her kids take part in all their activities!
