Kasia Dionne, DMD, Owner

Dr. Kasia Dionne graduated from University of Vermont in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then continued on to a dental school and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2013. She has been practicing general dentistry since graduation, treating patients of all ages and dental needs. As part of her public health service, Dr. Dionne enjoyed providing dental care to children and adolescents in rural parts of Vermont, where access to care is limited.

Dr. Dionne is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and is proud to serve on Vermont State Dental Society Board of Directors.

She is also a faculty member of the dental residency program at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Dr. Dionne is a native of Poland and moved to the beautiful state of Vermont in 2000. She and her husband, Ed, reside in Williston. They enjoy spending time with their three daughters, Emma, Chloe, and Lilly, as well as their dogs, Bean and Rocky. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, swimming, reading, and spending time outdoors.


Fayne Cayea, CDA

Fayne is a certified dental assistant with extensive experience in all aspects of dental assisting. Fayne is a graduate of Essex Technical Center and has her radiology certification. Learning new technology comes easily to Fayne – she has mastered 3D printing and CAD/CAM at our office! Fayne is great at trouble shooting and always up for a challenge.

Fayne is a native Vermonter with two children Sarah and Scott. Fayne enjoys crafts, cycling, fitness and spending time with her husband Ted at their camp in the Adirondacks.


Makesha Heath, TDA, Office Administrator

Makesha graduated in 1999 from The Essex Technical Center as a Dental Assistant. That year, she was honored to receive the “Outstanding Dental Assistant” award. Makesha is often the very first person our patients encounter and she is always ready to give them a warm welcome! Makesha is our insurance and billing specialist.

Makesha and her better half, Nate reside in their home in Essex Junction with their two beautiful girls, Monica and Daphne. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors in her vegetable garden, berry picking, camping as well as going for walks, riding her bike and spending time with family.


Kellie Lockerby, RDH

Kellie graduated from Vermont Technical College where she earned her degree in dental hygiene. Kellie has a very gentle aproach, yet she is very thorough and her patients love getting their teeth cleaned by her! Kellie is certified to administer local anesthesia and is well trained to treat periodontal disease with deep cleanings.

She currently resides in Colchester with her significant other, Jeff and her two loving dogs, Gunner and Stella. In Kellie’s free time she loves to spend time boating, playing hockey, and playing golf.


McKenna Farrell, TDA

McKenna has been a traditional dental assistant since 2020.  Prior to being an assistant, she was an experienced phlebotomist working for the American Red Cross.  Wanting to still feel like she was serving her community, she followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a dental assistant; we are thrilled to have a mother-daughter duo on our team! McKenna enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Ryan, traveling, and camping all around New England.  She and Ryan currently reside in the town of Georgia with their dog, Ace.


Buffy Farrell, TDA   

Buffy began dental assisting in 2009 when she worked in a dental traveling van serving children in rural areas of Vermont.  Prior to that, she owned and operated a flower shop in Montpelier, VT.  As a dental assistant, Buffy is dedicated to helping every patient have a great experience.  She joined Sprucewood Dental in the fall of 2021 and has been a great addition to our team.  Buffy enjoys spending time with her husband, Chet, riding motorcycles, and camping.  They have three children together and are eagerly awaiting their first grandchild in fall of 2022.


Arma Husrefovic, RDH, MPH

Arma graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston, MA where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. Additionally, she is certified to administer local anesthesia and has recently completed her Master’s degree in Public Health. She is passionate about getting to know her patients and educating them on the importance of oral health. 

In her free time, Arma enjoys traveling as much as possible and spending time with family. She’s also an avid soccer and basketball fan; if she isn’t traveling, you can find her at TD Garden cheering on the Boston Celtics.
